Hi!
I'm Sára. I'm Hungarian by birth, and I'm living in Budapest.
I am currently an art student at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, but I also have a BA-degree in Swedish and I'm fluent in English as well.
You could say I'm a real culture vulture (I love art, books, movies and theatre) and of course I am profoundly interested in languages too: how they work and how they relate to their cultural context.
I love to get to know new people and new cultures: that is one of the reasons why learning and teaching languages is so thrilling to me.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am patient and thorough and I try to motivate my students (above all) by conveying my own enthusiasm about the Hungarian language or the topics being discussed.
As I am flexible, attentive and creative, I feel I can easily tailer our lessons to best fit your personality and learning dinamics.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are completely individualised; we can discuss any topic you want: I can provide you with texts and listening material in your preferred topics, but most of all, you will get chances to discuss, have conversations with a native speaker about those topics. All will be of course in accordance with your level of proficiency in Hungarian, and we can always use English (or even Swedish, if that is by chance your preferred language) when something needs to be further clarified.
I am especially well-informed in culture-related topics but as I mentioned earlier, we could discuss any other topic as well - worst-case scenario: I will get some homework to do :)My teaching material
