Hello! My name is Oliver and I'm from England. I'm a native English tutor and I've worked with thousands of students from all over the world.
My hobbies and interests are:
- Health and wellness. I like to live a healthy life by eating well, doing yoga, looking after my mental health.
- Sport. My favorite sports to watch are football/ soccer and tennis. I also like cricket, but this isn't as popular as soccer or tennis!
- Animals. I love dogs. In my free time I like to spend time with my rescue-dogs (they used to be homeless but now they have a home forever!).Me as a Teacher
- I've been working as an English language tutor since 2017.
- I have worked online with thousands of students from all around the world.
- With some students, I offer natural conversations to develop an authentic English speaking style.
- With some students, I work on their academic writing, checking for logic, proofreading. For example, PHD writing and Master's degree writing.
- I worked as a head editor, proofreader and content developer for a successful English learning company. I understand the world of language learning and what learner's need to be succesful.My lessons & teaching style
- My teaching style is relaxed, friendly and promotes natural conversation (realistic dialogue).
- I encourage students to practice their natural conversation skills. I help students to talk naturally, develop colloquial expressions with a questions and answer format.
- I can also help students using lesson materials by topic, theme, and language level.
- What are the aims and goals of the student? It's important to communicate with the student early on, regarding their aims and goals. I then create a specific plan for each student.My teaching material
