I am a Native Afrikaans and English speaker from South-Africa. I like to help people and teaching is a great way to help students. I hold my students with positive regards. Some of my hobbies include baking, listening to audiobooks, playing with my cats, and doing handcrafts.

Me as a Teacher

I am Teacher Lolla. I am a patient, empathetic and passionate teacher. I have 4 years teaching experience with young learners I have an Early Childhood Development Level 4 and 5 certificate. I have a 120 Hour TEFL certified. I believe that learning should be a joyful experience.

My lessons & teaching style

During my lessons, I use the Total Physical Response method, Presentation, Practice, and Production method, and I personalize my teaching according to each student's needs and interests. I like to use visual aids with regards of the lesson topic. In some cases I like to give homework to students to allow students to practice the work we did in the lesson in order for the work to 'sink in'.
