Hi! My name is Leonie, and I love things like reading books, traveling around the word, eating good food and hanging out with my cat!!! During week days I'm in marketing, and in my free time I'm seeking to make more connections and learn lots about language, culture, people and life!Me as a Teacher
Since I spent time working in South Korea, my teaching experience has mostly been for English. However, because Dutch is my mothertongue it will be even more natural for me! I'll speak slowly and provide loads of examples. My goal is to make you feel super comfortable so that you can make as many mistakes as you need, I'll help you get it right eventually :-)My lessons & teaching style
We can work in practically any style you want. You may request a speaking class where we have topic-based conversations, or I prepare a more systematic approach for your classes. If you're a beginner we can start with simple words and phrases, whereas if you're intermediate level we may discuss articles, video's or make sample sentences together, for example. Let's discuss and decide on the most suitable classes for you!My teaching material

Ik heb ons eerste les heel van genoten :) Leonie heeft mij heel geholpen en is heel makelijk om mee te gaan. Zij paast haar niveau toe zodat je alles kan begrijpen, maar maakt het ook niet te makelijk. Ik kijk naar ons volgende les uit.

I had a Dutch lesson with Leonie and she speaks very clearly. I am not afraid to make mistakes. We had a lengthy conversation and whenever I made significant mistakes I had them corrected. In the future Leonie said that she will also provide help with grammar learning, which is something I asked for. I am happy to continue having lessons with Leonie because this is just what I needed to take my language skills to the next level.
