I am originally from Cambridge, England but I now live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. I currently work in an English language school, where students from all over the world come to Australia to learn English and I love to be surrounded by international people. My passions are sport, literature, nature and the outdoors, tv, film and music and cooking. I'm also learning Italian.

Me as a Teacher

The best way to improve is to have confidence in speaking and not worry about making mistakes. With me, you can learn and improve in a safe environment and be comfortable saying the wrong things and I'll offer you corrections and improvements in a friendly and supportive way.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons will be focused on maximising student talking time each lesson and consolidating what is discussed and taught through games and exercises. Speaking fluently is the most difficult aspect of learning a language and contact time with a native speaker will bring the most fluency for the student. Supported by reading and listening exercises as well as some writing tasks the students will develop the confidence they need to use English every day in the real world.
