Hello! I am a recent graduate from Pusan National University, where I studied Business Administration and Interior Design. I love communicating with people from different countries, and my travels have provided me with enriching cultural exchanges. My dream of becoming a teacher began in elementary school, where I found joy in sharing what I knew with friends.
As an iTalki instructor, I am committed to helping students learn Korean and understand the culture more deeply. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, ensuring my students have a meaningful experience. I gained valuable teaching experience while studying abroad in Japan as an exchange student. During my time there, I conducted Korean conversation classes for Japanese students. These students were curious about Korean culture, needed the language for professional reasons, or were planning to travel to Korea. Each class was meaningful and rewarding, as I witnessed their progress in learning Korean. This deepened my appreciation for the importance and joy of language education.
I wanted to continue it, so I applied to participatein a buddy program that supports international students at Pusan National University. Through it, I helped foreign students adapt to their new environment.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style focuses on creating an engaging and comprehensive approach to learning Korean. I believe that mastering a language involves more than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar. I actively incorporate various media, such as Korean dramas, variety shows, YouTube content, memes, cuisine, and travel destinations into my lessons. I aim to create a dynamic class making learning fun and relatable. I see language learning as a journey to discover a new world, and when students enjoy the process, their Korean skills improve more rapidly. By connecting language with culture, I hope to inspire students to engage deeply with Korean culture and develop a lasting interest in the languages.My teaching material
