Anna Veselova

Another week of lessons in the books. Anna is a hoot! I've retained more vocabulary cracking jokes and telling stories in 20 lessons than I ever could have imagined. I can only fit three days of lessons into my schedule so Anna makes sure I have unique resources to keep me engaged during the in-between time. My kids are amazed that I spend the whole hour speaking only in Russian, but then again they have no idea when I make mistakes! Thanks Anna. Looking forward...

I highly recommend trying out lessons with Anna. She is a great, positive and patient teacher and we have a lot of fun during our lessons. It leaves me allways with good vibes and motivation to keep on studying. In only two three weeks I have learned already alot.

Full steam ahead to 50 lessons! Thanks for all of your time and patience over these last four months Anna. Learning Russian this way has been so much fun and I couldn't imagine doing it with anybody else!

I am very glad to have chosen Anna as my tutor after a nearly 4 year gap in my studies. She very quickly put me at ease, and I always feel comfortable in our lessons to speak and learn from mistakes without dwelling in the frustration that often accompanies language learning (for me, at least). Amazingly, Anna follows my (way more complex than I have any right to attempt) meandering "sentences" and steers me back to productive activity, without awkwardness. Though I love studying Russian, I have always tended to dread every upcoming lesson, as I anticipate tripping all over my tongue (is that a saying? I don't know) for 45 minutes; with Anna, that has become that less and less the case. Anna is consistently punctual and a delight to chat with. It is nice to enjoy the company of one's tutor nearly as much as the learning. Thank you, Anna, for making lessons productive and decreasing my anxiety about the process.

Really good lesson from Anna, who is very patient and encouraging. Clearly an experienced teacher who knows her stuff. Kept the lesson moving and helped me think about how best to improve my current level. All positive! ))
