My name is Paula Calatayud Benavent. I was born and raised in Valencia and have lived in Ireland, Germany, Wales and France. I am passionate about languages and love teaching them. I have a keen interest in politics, history, literature and environmental issues and in my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, going on bike rides and playing clarinet.Me as a Teacher
For the past 10 years I have been fortunate to work with students of all ages at different educational levels: primary, secondary and high school, official language schools and night schools. At university level I have delivered classes in German at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I am currently a Lecturer in Catalan at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens, France.My lessons & teaching style
My goal as a teacher is to foster student interest and motivation, as well as create a positive work environment in the classroom that facilitates learning for all students. I have good communication skills and an extensive knowledge of new technologies that provide dynamism to language classes. I believe this dynamism together with the creativity in my methodology are my key strengths as a teacher.My teaching material
