I am from the United States, but have lived in China, South Korea and Japan. I have worked in education as an EFL instructor, and in business administration at various non profit businesses in the USA. When I'm not teaching I like to read, try new foods, and travel as much as I can.

Me as a Teacher

I believe we learn best while having fun, so my classes are relaxed and engaging. We go at your pace, and can explore any topics you're interested in. I love learning from my students too! I provide correction and feedback based on students' language and confidence level, with increased feedback once we have built trust in each other.

My lessons & teaching style

I am happy to cater lessons to your goals and desired pace. I have experience with all levels, from phonics through more advanced reading and discussion. We can focus on grammar, have more free conversation practice, or a mix of both. I think that variety of lessons is the best way to keep engaged and motivated.
