Shalom, everyone!
My name is Tom, I was born and raised in Israel and Hebrew is my native language. People easily mistake my name for being of English origins, but in my case it actually derives from Hebrew, meaning both ‘‘End’’ and ‘’Naivety'’.
After studying History at Tel Aviv University I moved to Vienna to become fluent in German, a language that does not cease to excite me. Today I still live in this fantastic city and work as a certified Tour Guide in Hebrew, English, and German.Me as a Teacher
As much as I enjoy learning a new language, I enjoy teaching it to others. Hebrew is definitely one of the most magical languages on the planet, both ancient and modern, one that still manages to allure us with its mysterious sound.
Besides working as a certified Tour Guide in Vienna, I also guide Hebrew conversation Groups, where we put a lot of emphasis on speaking the language while overcoming the fear of making mistakes.My lessons & teaching style
I am an avid believer in learning a new language by focusing on its most practical aspects. Learning a language requires self-discipline and a great deal of inner drive. As a teacher, I believe that to maintain this drive, it is essential to allow the students to experience the vivid side of a new language, see it takes shape, and come to life in their reality.My teaching material
