Most teachers forget to explain one simple thing: foreign language is easy. Instead, they force their poor students to scram the thousands of rules and exceptions and put in their heads almost primal fear to make any mistake, which IS the major roadblock in studying any language. Ranting about grace, elegance and art, many teachers forget to say that language first of all is a mean of communication.
Not widely known that vocabulary of usual day-to-day communication of any language consist just approximately 300-400 words. But many people have been studied a foreign language for years unable to say a single word. Fortunately, I have a recipe to fix it. And it is by no means a secret.My lessons & teaching style
From the very first class a student get involved in extensive speaking practice. My aim is to get the fear of make a mistake out of student and teach to conceive any language as an instrument to express himself and his thoughts.
However, we will discuss the student´s aims and expectations from the classes and plan our lessons in accordance with them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with Sergei! In your first lesson he'll talk with you and see what your level is and will ask for your input on what you want to learn/focus on. He will make you speak! He definitely got me out of my shell. I didn't want to speak because of the mistakes, and that's what hinders progress. Definitely booking more lessons with him. Sergei is better than the two Russian teachers I had in university (one was from Belarus). Большой спасибо Сергей!

It was good to speak with Serge. He was interesting and is a good conversationalist. I now know a few slang words that will help me identify Ленинградцы. He also suggested some videos I could watch on YouTube. I would recommend lessons with Serge to anyone looking to practice their conversational skills in Russian without any hesitation.
