Dina Park

Dina 씨 is so good at explaining things in a simple way. I often look on internet for explanations for very specific points. But I often only find very vague answers with no cultural contextualization. Then, I ask Dina 씨 and she is always able to explain things in a very precise way. And most important of all, she tells me the actual use of it (telling me if it's a common way to speak or not, in what situations people would use it or not,...). Without Dina 씨 I would be very frustrated with many unclear grammar points in my head. But thanks to her I always move on to the next grammar points, with the feeling that I had a very good grasp what I've already studied.

I've been studying with Dina for about a year now. She is amazing - extremely patient (I can be a SLOW talker!!!), always prepared, and incredibly friendly. Our classes are always comfortable and enjoyable: more like a conversation than a class (although I learn a lot each time). As others have said, because Dina currently lives abroad in Sweden, she has a very unique perspective; I love to hear her opinions on anything we discuss. I still have a LOT to learn, but I wouldn't be where I am now without Dina's help! I highly recommend her as a teacher! :D 정말...진짜...항상 감사합니다!

Speaking a lot of Korean, even when you feel like you don’t know much, is easy with Dina 선생님. Even if I take a long time to say something and feel self conscious, she never looks frustrated - only patient and encouraging. She also makes interesting homework related to my interests, so lessons feel very personalized. This week Dina 선생님 sent me an audio clip that was perfect for repetitive listening. Although I didn’t understand everything, the more I listened, the more I was able to figure out the meaning by spelling words out.

Well, it’s been 2 years and months and I never had a dull class with 디나 씨, 디나 씨 was always patient with me and taught me many things in Korean, 인생도 문화도 음식도 음악도 등등, 너무 너무 감사합니다 for that. 새로운 인생하고 직업은 축하해요, 화이팅 디나 씨가 할 수 있어요! 나중에 work life balance 찾으면 한국어 가르치기 다시 시작하고 싶으면, 연락해 주세요.
