I have done a lot of teaching (German+English) as a volunteer throughout the world, mostly in Asia and Africa. This helped me gain an experience and an awareness of teaching.
I enjoy teaching and practicing with people of all levels. Every student is different, that is why I take a lot of time preparing my lessons to find the way that is most efficient for my students.My lessons & teaching style
Depending on your individual needs, reasons for learning the language and your goals, we will set up a plan to reach your goal and fill the gaps. My teaching style is very flexible, patient and easy-going. I find it most important to have fun with the language, that will make us stick to it!5.0

Barbara is GREAT! It was fun speaking with her entirely in both French and German — yet being able to ask her any word that I didn't know in English (as she is totally fluent in each of these languages). She is patient — she made excellent notes on language points that I didn't know in German — and it was great to be able to talk with her just as I would with a friend in a cafe in an informal conversation. I look forward to doing more lessons with her!
