I'm from Bogotá, Colombia. I'm a professional Spanish Teacher, I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics of Spanish as a Foreign Language and I am certified by International House Barcelona. When I'm teaching, what's most important for me is to listen to you. I will be aware of your needs. We'll work together to develop your strengths, and I'll support you with any difficulties you encounter along the way. I started teaching Spanish in 2011 at International House Bogotá after finishing a technical program in design. It didn’t take me long to realize that teaching—especially Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE)—is my true passion. Over the years, I’ve worked with students from all around the world in all kinds of settings. These experiences have taught me to be adaptable, culturally aware, and flexible in tailoring lessons to fit each student’s needs.

From the very first class, you’ll start speaking Spanish, no matter your level. If you’re not a beginner or don’t know your level, I’ll give you a Spanish test to assess it, and I’ll create a personalized work plan for you.

Certificación curso de Formación de Profesores de Español como lengua extranjera - International House Barceloa - 2012Para obtener este certificado se debe contar con un título universitario, buen conocimiento general de la lengua, asistir a un curso de 120 horas lectivas y entregar un trabajo escrito sobre algún aspecto de la enseñanza de ELE.
Este certificado permite ser contratado en International House como profesor de español.
