My name is Urszula, I was born in Poland, I've lived in Norway since I was seven and I completed most of my education in English. I am currently studying translation and modern languages at Nottingham University in the UK. I also speak some Spanish and Russian. I love reading (especially fantasy books), watching anime and learning about different languages and cultures.Me as a Teacher
I have some exprience tutoring languages 1 on 1, mostly in Polish. I like my lessons to be very relaxed, practical and speaking-focused. I try to not focus too much on rules and grammar and instead encourage my students to get more language input.
I believe that having good communication skills and a clear pronounciation are the most important steps on your language journey.
I will also encourage you to explore the culture of your target language and give you lots of great book, movie and tv show recommendations to better understand that culture.My lessons & teaching style
In my lesson, my primary goal is to make your language learning prossess fun and engaging so that you can build up your confidence in your target languae. I want to help my students in overcoming the fear that comes with speaking in a new language. Depending on your preference, we can either have a completely free-style casual conversation, or we can focus on a specific topic (for example a video or an article)
At the end of each lesson, I will write down all the new words that you came across so that you can later go through them on your own and really make them a part of your vocabulary.My teaching material

Really enjoyable, gave me EXCELLENT recommendations for ways I can passively expose myself to Norwegian and improve between lessons. She's so nice and answered all of my questions very well (in a way that was really easy to understand). I would honestly recommend her to any friend of mine. I'm not joking when I say that I really can't wait for my next lesson!!
