About Me

Hello my name is Samira, and you can call me Sam. I’m an Iranian girl and crazy about teaching. I have been teaching over the past 11 years. I used to teach in Iran and now I’m teaching English in Turkey. I’m a BIHE graduate and I majored in English Language studies and I hold a B.A. I’m also taking an online TESOL course, and soon I’ll have this certificate. Photography and traveling are my biggest interests and hobbies. I’m mostly interested in portrait photography. In my real life I’m very creative and my students enjoy spending time with me in classes.

Me as a Teacher

I'm a very creative and hardworking person I have always tried to be a conscientious person at work. I care about teaching and how I can be a very knowledgeable and professional teacher. So, I read so many articles and search a lot on the Internet to get ideas and inspirations and sharpen my skills.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are interactive, students are involved 80% (this is what I try to happen) in speaking. Classes are accompanied by homework and sometimes assignments. I personally believe a class is fruitful when students enjoy their participation and teaching material of teachers. Also methodology must be in accordance with the needs of learners.
