I am happiest when my students are happy, and that's why I like to make sure my lessons are enjoyable and interesting. It is very important that my students enjoy my lessons and achieve what they are seeking to achieve. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing students improve and I love being a part of that. I am very patient as I understand how challenging learning a language can be sometimes. I want my students to feel relaxed and comfortable, and I want them to understand that it is ok to make mistakes - that's all part of the process! I make mistakes in Italian every day!My lessons & teaching style
I tailor my lessons to suit the needs of each individual student. I have a lot of fun online resources for young learners - my lessons for young learners are energetic. I have Cambridge exam preparation materials - we can practise writing, reading, speaking and listening. I can also provide mock exams. If you are looking to focus on speaking and improve your pronunciation and fluency then I also do classes for conversational English.

She tried to exactly assess my level and set out the plan for the course to follow by having a conversation. She leads the hour in a way that I don't feel too pressured and can have confidence in speaking and listening. She patiently listens for me to continue the conversation despite my rambling and speaks at a pace where I have not too much difficulty in listening. I came to believe that I can improve and achieve the level I want to reach if I keep studying with Emma. Thanks, Emma, and I'm really glad to know you as my tutor.
