I come from a small country in Europe called Serbia. I’m a veritable bookworm. I devour books on literally everything. As a voracious reader, I love to write. I’ve written several short stories – still unpublished – so be on the lookout for my name on those dust jackets! I’m also a cinephile and I love the feeling when I’m immersed in a good flick. I like doing sports such as basketball and swimming, too.
I’m open-minded and affable. I love people, traveling, and learning new things about other cultures. I’ve been to many countries and lived in China for a time. I carry indelible memories from all the places I’ve visited.Me as a Teacher
Good communication is key, so I try to break any and all barriers to it from the get-go in every lesson. I also do my best to keep you motivated at all times, because without motivation, you can’t learn. It’s only human to show feelings and think about life problems. Thus, I always keep an eye on dips in motivation and try to help as much as teacherly possible.
I’ll show you how best to achieve your learning goals. But since we’re all different, assisting you on your language journey requires an approach that is special to you only. This is where my expertise comes in: you’ll never be hampered by my teaching, you’ll be able to express yourself fully, and you’ll receive valuable feedback.My lessons & teaching style
Expect engaging and lively lessons. If this sounds like a cliché, that’s because it is. But it’s the truth, as well. In my classroom, you won’t use English only because that’s what you’re supposed to do. No. I’ll make sure to get you genuinely invested in the experience, cognitively and emotionally. We’re social animals, and we learn best through experience. This approach shifts the focus from the language and classroom to social interaction similar to that in the real world. When you’re in this state of mind, learning and growth of language skills come easy. You’ll also get timely language support and interventions.
