Today was our first lesson together. I am A1 / basically complete beginner. The lesson format was practical / Q&A + expressions. For my goals, this was excellent. We used Skype. She typed in the chat thoroughly. She then formatted a GoogleDoc review of our lesson afterwards. I learned how to introduce myself in a fun and realistic way as well ask questions of my own. We covered: greetings, name, age, numbers 1-10, study, work, hobbies, other expressions (including ones to use with my Italian boyfriend). The lesson was adapted to my needs and abilities. There was a midway review in the form of practice and again at the end. After the final review, she allotted a few minutes for me to ask any additional questions I had. She was patient, friendly, and helpful, and allowed me briefly take 2 phone calls (on mute of course) as well as give me appropriate time to update my own handwritten notes. Excellent lesson and teacher.
