Hi! My name is Megan. I was born and currently live in the United States. In 2017, I visited Brazil for the first time. I had such an incredible adventure! I met many wonderful people and experienced a new language. That experience ignited a love of meeting people from different cultures and communicating in a different language.
One of my passions is people. I love being with people and experiencing meaningful connections with others. I also love acting, going to the beach, writing, inspiring stories, watching TV, history, and thrift store shopping. I have a big imagination and love adventure. It’s one of the reasons I loved my trip to Brazil so much!Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I like to focus on conversation. I believe this is one of the best ways to gain fluency in a language. You can choose a topic that interests you or I can select a topic if you would prefer. I am a very patient and understanding teacher. I know that learning a new language can be challenging and I am here to support you every step of the way!My lessons & teaching style

I like to teach English in a relaxed environment. Instead of a typical classroom format where grammar rules and memorizing vocabulary are the main focus, I prefer to teach English through conversation. We can talk about a topic that interests you. Or if you would like, you can bring an article to read and we can discuss it after. I am flexible about what we do during the lesson. Feel free to contact me and let me know what you prefer.
