Working with people is my great passion in life and doing it in a teaching setting gives me absolute pleasure and fulfilment. I am a wife, mother and grandmother and I love doing creative things. I also enjoy cooking, walking, cycling, reading and playing the piano.Me as a Teacher
I have been in the teaching business for many years, teaching piano lessons, English as well as other subjects. Since 2019 I have been teaching English and Afrikaans on Italki and I love every moment of it. I am bilingual and understand the challenges of learning a new language as I am also schooled in German.My aim is to help my students to become confident in their learning language and to be comfortable with it knowing their listeners can understand them. My lessons & teaching style
My focus is on the individual needs of the student and I try to adapt to each one by using topics of interest on the different levels of learning. It is important to keep the lessons interesting and challenging and to make sure my student feel confident and comfortable while learning their language of choice.
