I am a qualified teacher with over 7 years of professional experience from working in countries such as Canada, Japan and Spain.
I am experienced in young learner and adult education, and my expertise includes exam preparation (Cambridge YLE and TOEIC), professional English and conversational English development.
In 2014, I received a degree in English second language teaching with a minor in linguistics. I continue to develop as a teacher by participating in various courses and programs that help me to meet the needs of my students.Me as a Teacher
I'm a flexible teacher which allows me to prepare lessons specific to my students needs. I understand that every student has a different learning style and I think it's important to match these styles. Learning should be comfortable and enjoyable even when you are challenging yourself to improve. My aim is to use my experiences as both a teacher and a language learner to help you improve and feel confident with your own language skills.My lessons & teaching style
Lessons with me are very conversational and casual. I want students to feel comfortable since this will help them to feel confident when speaking and practising with me. Don't be shy or afraid to make mistakes! It's all part of learning.
** If you cannot make it to a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible so we can try to arrange a different time or date for your lesson.**
**Students who do not show up to a class and do not warn me about being unable to attend will not be able to reschedule the lesson and must book a new lesson instead. In this case I will collect the class fee, even if a student does not attend, since I have taken the time to plan a lesson.**My teaching material
