Rosana Rodriguez

Rosana is a skilled and highly professional teacher, and I’m loving my lessons with her. So far, we’ve begun each lesson with conversation—I appreciate this because it helps to ‘warm-up’ my Spanish brain!—and then we look at various materials, which she prepares in advance. These are always really enjoyable and interactive. She sets homework which we discuss, and tailors what we focus on to my own needs and requests. It’s clear that she really enjoys teaching, but more than this that she understands and has studied teaching itself: how people learn, and how to teach well. She combines this with a deep understanding of the language. She’s motivational, patient, creative and effective, and I’m more than happy with the lessons.

Another really good lesson. Lots of speaking practice and continued learning of Spanish verbs in past and present tenses. Addition of homework is also helpful to continue what was learned in class.
