Hello! My name is Jan, born and raised in the Czech republic and currently living in Finland. My field of expertise is classical music and at the moment, I study for my master’s degree in piano performance. However, one of my other great passions is languages and I would be excited to help you to expand your knowledge of my native language! Besides the interests I have mentioned, I also like to spend my time reading, excercising and cooking.Me as a Teacher
Although I am not originally a language teacher, I have expereince in teaching piano to students of different levels and ages. This means that I have the patience which is expected from a teacher and I will always try to create a friendly atmosphere in which you do not need to be afraid to make mistakes and ask questions. :)My lessons & teaching style
Currently, I offer conversation lessons where you can practice speaking and expand your vocabulary of various topics. I can always provide new questions and topics to discuss or you can suggest your own. If you have a question about a particular grammar topic, you can bring it up and we can look into it.
NOTE: For now, I can only offer lessons in Czech since Italki is not currently accepting any new applications for English teachers.My teaching material
