Hello! Iām Abbie from Sunderland in the North East of England. Iāve taught English since 2018, working with adults and children. Iām TEFL and CELTA qualified, with degrees in Business and Marketing and 8 yearsā business experience. I love travelling (China, Japan, South Korea, the USA, Italy and more), plus movies, hiking and political podcasts. I create relaxed, supportive lessons tailored to your goals, with a focus on building confidence - mistakes are welcome and help you improve. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, or English for work and interviews. Iām excited to meet you and help you enjoy learning English.
Iām a TEFL and CELTA qualified teacher, which means I use professional techniques to help you learn English more effectively and efficiently. I also hold an undergraduate degree and a masterās in Business and Marketing, with 8 years of experience working in business.
Iāve worked with university students, adults, and children. Teaching is my true passion, and I love connecting with people from all over the world. Not only do I get to help you improve your English, but I also learn about your culture along the way.
Above all, my main goal is to boost your confidence. I truly believe that when you feel more confident, language learning becomes much easier and more enjoyable.
