Hello! My name is Abbie and I live in Sunderland, in the North East of England. I have years of teaching experience with both adults and children. I love travelling and exploring other countries, I travel as much as possible and have been to many places across the world including, China, Japan, South Korea, USA, Italy, etc. I like seeing my friends, watching movies, hiking and listening to music. I am TEFL and CELTA qualified which means I have professional techniques used by English language teachers to help you learn more effectively and efficiently. I also have an undergraduate degree and masters degree in Business and Marketing and 8 years experience working in business. I have experience working with university students, adults and also primary school students. Teaching is a huge passion of mine. I love being able to talk to people from around the world, learn about their culture while at the same time developing their English skills. My main aim in lessons is to improve confidence, in my opinion this helps language learningMy lessons & teaching style
When you book a lesson, you will see that I like to build a good rapport with my students. In the first class we will get to know each other and I will learn what you are looking to gain from lessons. From there, I will create varied activities in classes to make sure they are interesting and they benefit you as a learner.
