Prior to teaching English abroad, I received over 100 hours of training in teaching English as a foreign language. Furthermore, as a language learner myself, I know how difficult and sometimes scary it can be to practice speaking, especially with a native speaker. Because of this, I have a great amount of empathy for my students and strive to provide them with a fun and relaxing environment, which allows them to practice, learn, and build confidence in themselves. Most importantly, I always get a great sense of satisfaction from seeing my students improve along their English journey.My lessons & teaching style
As a community tutor, my lessons are generally informal, and are aimed at giving you the opportunity to practice speaking about any topics you are interested in. Along the way, I will help you by correcting and explaining any grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation mistakes. Although I do not provide any homework or worksheets, you are more than welcome to bring your own materials to the lesson. Most importantly, be prepared to have fun! :)My teaching material
