Hi! I'm Bayleigh Saulmon, a teacher on iTalki and a 7th grade English teacher in a US public school. I love learning and engaging with difficult yet rewarding struggles to grow my mind. I'm currently studying Mandarin, and I actively read theory and engage with other ways of being and making sense of the world. I adore Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, and Korean dramas. I can also crochet and enjoy writing on the side.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I'm invested in learning about my students and why they want to learn. My job is to facilitate learning and encourage the lifelong process of engaging with others and content in ways that are fun, rewarding, and stimulating for the mind and heart. I'm dedicated to helping others reach their language learning goals and I hope to be an encouraging a motivating presence along the journey.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is that of a warm demander. I will encourage and uplift hard work and effort and also provide rewarding challenges that motivate and help my students learn. I endeavor to provide a trusting relationship for my students to feel free to make mistakes and learn from them.
