Hi! My name is Tania, I am from Zhytomyr - the city with old history, that was based in year 884.
I've been singing since I was young, and now I study opera singing, preparing myself for the musical career. I am a passionate language learner and I always seek for effective methods. I passed Goethe-Zertifikat B2 and know planing to start learning Italian. Furthermore, I love to read self-development books and do every day little things to become a better version of myself. During my free time, I like watching some films, anime, Korean dorama, reading Webtoon comics. Also, I play piano and compose some melodies. Besides, in the morning I do yoga and meditation.Me as a Teacher
For 2 years I was giving Ukrainian and Russian lessons to Chinese students in my Musical Academy in Kyiv. I am pretty sure that the teacher needs to learn together with his/her students. Only then there is a chance to give more service to others. I always try to expand my knowledge in language learning, and I am open to share with my experience in order to help others grow and develop their skills in the target language.My lessons & teaching style
I use the method which calls "The Natural Approach of Language Acquisition" by American linguist Stephen Krashen. It says that we acquire language in the only way, by understanding messages. The key point is to use comprehensible input. With this method, we can acquire the foreign language in the same way as we did with our mother tongue. This method helped me on my language journey.

I’ve been taking weekly lessons with Tania for a few months now, and I really enjoy my time in these lessons! Tania is a very kind, patient, and helpful teacher. She has created stories specific to my interests, and has shared several helpful resources I can use in my own time.
Today I shared with her some other resources I’d picked up for myself and she helped me with ways to use them, and then shared another great resource for watching my favorite movies and tv in Ukrainian too!

I always enjoy my lessons with Tania! I appreciate that she will go along with my questions and tangents. She shared interesting historical info about the language in one of these moments today that was very helpful for me!
Tania had also created individualized stories for me in these lessons using one of my most favorite book series—it has helped me to recognize and isolate new words in a much better way, and I appreciate it greatly!
