Hello my current/future students!
I am slowly coming back from my maternity leave. I am really looking forward to have fun on my classes and help you improve beautiful Czech language!
About me:
Ahoj! I am Zdeni, native Czech, fluent in English and intermediate in Spanish. I love traveling and with it came my passion for languages. I like working with kids and in my free time I'm usually crocheting, sewing, reading and doing yoga.
I know how amazing it is to have a teacher who can become your friend so that classes are not boring and you can apply your new language in your everyday life, so that's what I'm aiming to become :)Me as a Teacher
If there's someone that can understand how it feels to learn a new language it's me because I'm currently learning a third language so I know what the student wants to experience in a class. I've always been interested in getting to know Czech in a deeper level so I understand how hard the language is and how to help you learn it in the best way possible. :)
For me it's important to make you feel comfortable and not worry about making mistakes while still having fun in the lessons, and since I'm working with kids I understand how to explain the language from the very beginning.My lessons & teaching style
- Each lesson is adapted to the student, based on its needs and requirements. You can choose what you want to do and how you want to do it
- A LOT of conversation since I believe that it's the most important, fun and useful way to learn a language
- I can give you useful vocabulary for your day-to-day conversations

I really learned a lot from doing a role play about what might happen in the store at checkout! I hope we can do more role plays like it! I will certainly need them in Prague soon!

Zdenka is such a great teacher. I hadn't had a lesson in a while so we spent a few minutes talking and she assessed what I needed help with and chose activities that were helpful for the mistakes I was making. I'm very thankful for my lesson with her and I'm looking forward to my next!

Moc děkuju za lekci :) very helpful and stress-free class! Zdeni is a responsible teacher who corrected the grammar immediately, which I benefited from a lot since Czech has many different cases and it's hard to use them correctly ;)

Zdeni is so patient and adjusts to my level with each lesson. Some days are harder than others and I'm appreciating so much how she meets me where I am each time. Highly recommend!
