Hi guys, I am a teacher, Sarah Kim. I am a Korean teacher certificated by Korean Government and I have experienced teaching Korean for 5 years.
I love to learn new languages so I know how can it be effective when you learn new languages. I speak English fluently, I also speak a little bit of Spanish.
I like to travel, sing songs, exercise, read books, and communicate with people. I also love to explore new things and develop myself.Me as a Teacher
Once you have a clear goal you would like to achieve when you learn Korean, you can achieve it.; I will bring you there. I am not only a goal-oriented, skillful teacher but also patient, joyful, and encouraging.
I have a passion for teaching Korean to people who are interested in Korean culture and the Korean language. You might not be familiar with the Korean alphabet, Hangul, but It will be full of joy when you study Korean with me at Italki.My lessons & teaching style

I customized the classes depends on student's needs. For instance, if a student wants to learn Korean speaking-focused, I can help you with it or if you would like to study grammar-focused, I can also hold classes like that.
Use many kinds of materials that can help your understanding such as flashcards, k-pop, pdf files, and audio files.
IF you only need it, I give you homework writing a daily journal and you can get feedback each time you take the classes. It will dramatically help your Korean level, for sure.My teaching material

I am very thankful to Sarah for being so patient in our first lesson. I had to ask her to repeat things many times because I cannot really hear Korean sounds well yet. She stayed calm and polite and repeated the words for me again and again. I really appreciated her kind nature.

I always overthink things and get a little nervous when I meet someone new. She made me feel comfortable, guided me through multiple exercises, and always checked to make sure I understood what we were discussing. I highly recommend her classes if you are looking for a kind supportive teacher! Cannot wait to take more classes.
