I'm an experienced Serbian teacher and native Serbian speaker with 25 years of teaching experience and 3 years of online teaching experience. I'm also children's books writer and illustrator, and textbooks author.
I also worked on TV, as a puppeteer and a scriptwriter for children shows.
My great love are literature and mythology, as well as etymology, and if you are interested in Serbian literature, mythology or etymology of words, it would be my greatest pleasure to unveil their hidden treasures to you. I'm also quite a nerd when it comes to movies and TV shows and I tend to make cultural references during my lessons :)

Currently I'm learning Spanish, Arabic, Greek and Japanese - languages are my passion, and being multilingual enables me to make many useful comparisons related to grammar of pronunciation during my lessons.

I conduct my lessons via Zoom, and allow my students to record them, so that they can better revise. We are going to practice conversations in our every lesson, starting with a trial. I enjoy preparing my own teaching materials, but I also use picture books when I work with beginners, and for advanced students books, newspapers articles, fairy tales or scientific reports, etc. Every lesson will include grammar explanations and practices, as well as practical use of learned in everyday conversations. We are going to watch cartoons and movie scenes in Serbian, and learn songs related either to grammar or the topic we covered during the lesson. My trial lesson with Sanja was excellent - she came more than well-prepared, ready to discuss any topic, equipped to assess my level, loaded with different materials...I was very impressed. We also had a great conversation, which she very generously extended past the allotted time. I knew I'd selected a good teacher, but I didn't know how good. She exceeded my expectations.
