Hello!
My name is Katherine Lawson and I live in Kentucky in the United States! I received a Bachelors degree from Eastern Kentucky University with a 4.0 GPA in 2016. I have a toddler son and two pets. I love to cook, garden, collect indoor plants, and my family. I have traveled to 14 states in America and three international countries including Italy, Spain, and Canada. I hope to travel even more with my son!Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I have almost 3 years of online teaching experience. I have taught over 2200 classes on VIPKid to over 500 students! I am a native English speaker with a passion for teaching. I have experience teaching children from ages three to sixteen. I am patient, engaging, encouraging, and kind! I adapt my classes to meet the needs of my students. I enjoy getting to know my students. It is a reward to watch them learn and grow!My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are for all levels. Most of my focus is on beginner students. Two classes, "From Words to Sentences" and "Read with Me!," help beginner students build their reading and speaking skills. Both classes use games, books, PPT, workbooks, and other level appropriate materials. "Speak with Me!" is a conversation course. The student may bring their own materials to this course. Students are expected to participate and speak in complete sentences (with teacher assistance if necessary). It is my goal to make each lesson fun and educational!My teaching material
