Hey! I'm Živa and I'm from Slovenia, where I currently live. I just finished my masters' studies in psychology so I have a lot of experience with teaching and working with different kinds of people from different backgrounds. Among other things I love learning languages and this is how I came across italki. I love italki and have been using it as a student for years. The platform has helped me learn a new language almost from scratch and so I wanted to join as a teacher as well and help others learn Slovene! Otherwise my hobbies and interests include hiking, camping, reading books, cooking, psychology, meditation and film. :)Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am kind, patient and supportive. I believe that the best results come when you have a good relationship with your teacher and you're learning in a positive environment. I also believe that it is important to correct mistakes when they occur and to analyse why they occur, so I will correct you when necessary and explain what the mistake is.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are very flexible so we can plan them based on your needs and wishes. If you just want to practice and need a conversation partner, then we can have discussions about different topics based on articles, books, films or just general daily things. I can also prepare some games, quizzes and flashcards. I also like to write down the corrections to the mistakes you make and phrases we learn so you can keep track of what you're learning.My teaching material
