Wow! You found me! You're probably here because you want to learn how to speak Tagalog. Let me help you.
I am Mikka, 23 years old, and I'm from the Philippines. It's a pleasure to teach you the Tagalog language.
Just a little backstory... When I was in high school, I used to join journalism/writing contests. I enjoyed writing articles, stories, essays, and even songs in both English and Tagalog language. I have always liked the subject - specifically how sentences and words are formed.
I also have been teaching both languages for 3 years now and I really love what I do because the more I teach, the more I learn as well. The more friends I get to have too.Me as a Teacher
I will not just be your teacher but I will be your friend also! Let's talk about each other's experiences using the language that you want to learn. I'll make sure that our classes will put a smile in your face and you will gain lots of learnings that will be useful in your life.My lessons & teaching style
I will provide you situational examples for you to better understand the language. I'll make use of visual aids so learning the language will be easier and effective. You are allowed to speak and share your thoughts so I will know that you really understand our lessons. If you have questions and clarifications, feel free to tell me and I don't mind explaining many times. I know learning a new language is quite tough so I am here to help you. I was very impressed with my first class. Mikka really makes Tagalog easier to understand. She starts small and adds more complexity throughout the class. I have always though Tagalog was one of the more difficult languages to learn but Mikka makes it seem simple.
