Hello, my name is Tela and I am here to guide you in growing your conversational and business English. I currently live with my family in the Midwest. We enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures. I also personally enjoy listening to podcasts, reading and trivia. I stay up to date on news, film and culture. One of my favorite things about teaching is getting to know learners from all over the world.

Me as a Teacher

I am a TEFL certified English teacher. I specialize in growing your conversation skills by talking about things that interest you. I also use a conversational technique to assist in neutralizing your accent, if this is your goal. If you need assistance in preparing for an interview or business presentation, I have ample experience and education to help you succeed. I tailor the lesson to your specific needs. I provide a comfortable a safe learning environment, which is the ideal for you to thrive.

My lessons & teaching style

I like to set goals and expectation in our first lesson. Since my lessons are tailored to your needs every lesson does not look the same, as I use a variety of materials to customize. and I strive to make my lessons FUN as well as educational. My only expectation of you is to come to each lesson eager to learn and have fun.
