About Me

Hello! I am TESOL certified and have a Bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in biology. I currently work in the field of health and safety for study abroad. Previously, I have worked in public health. In my free time, I am an artist and a gardener. I have always loved language and plan to learn more and travel someday! I am learning Spanish (B1-B2) and French (A1), currently. I have always been passionate about animals and focused a lot of my psychology studies on animal cognition during my undergraduate degree. I also studied human-centered cognitive psychology in undergrad, focusing on the comprehension of written text and evaluation of arguments.

Me as a Teacher

I have previous experience teaching in a university setting as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and as a Teacher's Assistant. My psychology background and research assistantship studying cognitive psychology and the comprehension of written text are very applicable to learning and teaching new languages. I want to help you improve your English and achieve your goals in a supportive, friendly, and positive environment!
