Hello! My name is Rachel. English is my first language. I live in the UK and I have a British accent from the south of England. I was born in London and I have also worked in London for many years so I enjoy all the brilliant things about the city and the countryside in equal measure.
Yoga is a big passion of mine and I also love exploring new places. I enjoy travelling, reading, socialising and watching films and I go to local art classes.

I am a qualified and professional English teacher living in the UK. I teach adults and I particularly focus on helping beginners to intermediates. I also teach advanced students.
I have a CELTA qualification and a PGCE PCET qualification. This means I am a fully-qualified English teacher in the UK. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have taught in community centres, in a large UK further education college and online.
In the UK college, I managed and organised the entire ESOL Skills for Life course, which meant I created the curriculum, planned the lessons and ensured students across five different ability levels made excellent progress and really enjoyed their learning experience.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are warm, welcoming and motivating. I teach with a lot of energy and enthusiasm and I always make sure my student's English needs are understood and met. I love teaching my subject and this comes across in my lessons.
I am thoroughly organised and prepared with plenty of fabulous resources, ideas and materials to help make learning stimulating. I'm really focused on helping my students make progress week after week so they can see great results from their hard work. I support my students when they make mistakes and focus on correction to really make the lessons successful for my students.

For me, lessons with Rachel seem to be the best possible way to use the language, to learn new words and phrases-there is always something new and to learn the culture of England. Since Rachel is a patient and open-minded teacher I am not afraid to ask hundreds of questions concerning Rachel's everyday life.
