For the complete beginners, I usually try to cover the most frequent words to build basic vocabulary and as soon as they are confident enough, we start building sentences and adding more words, this time with the context. I mainly assist the students and leave them with the primary choice regarding the activity during the lesson. I am always open to suggestions and changes in teaching.
