Is it common to build a question like this? Example: "So what should someone concerned about their health, or that of the seascape, do?" _________ Putting the verb at the end of the question is it formal or informal? is it given more on writing than speaking? Thank you for your help

When speaking or writing informally, the general phrase is "What should people do, if they are concerned about X?" When speaking or writing formally, the general phrase is "What should people who are concerned about X do?

"So, what should someone do?" is typical of informal, spoken English. "Therefore, what should one do?" is more formal and might be found in formal writing. Subject-verb order is common in English questions. Eg: - What should we do? - Where should we go? - What do you think? - When will he arrive? - When shall we eat?
