I am Larry, an online English teacher from the Philippines. I have a BA in English and Political Science and I am also TESOL certified.
I have been teaching English online to different Asian nationalities with various levels of English skills. The experience has broadened my understanding of different cultures. I have also gotten to know what drives people.
Outside of work, I like to walk my pooches in late afternoons to enjoy the sunset. I also like to watch movies. There's nothing like a good scare from a horror film or an adrenalin rush from a good action flick. Once in a while, I like to go trekking with some friends.Mostrar traducción

My teaching philosophy is to always engage the student. I try to make the discussions stimulating, insightful, and relatable to the student's personal experiences and interests. I am committed to helping students achieve their learning objectives and goals, and the classes should be customized to accomplish these.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My classes are conversational. They are relaxed and casual. Freetalk is integrated into the topic.
I believe that:
>Conversations are an effective way of learning a language.
>Conversations let the learners apply what they have previously learned from structured lessons.
>Conversations make the language learner realize better ways to speak English because they naturally make mistakes along the way and they learn from these.
I give feedback and coaching in the class. I try to make the corrections discreet and unobtrusive. Although sometimes, as per your request or when needed, corrections can be explicit and explanations are provided.Mi material didáctico
