My teaching style is relationship-oriented, thoroughly prepared, patient, and friendly. I pride myself in making sure students feel supported and encouraged during the educational relationship. My approach when working with students is highly attentive and customized. I use a personalized curriculum and thoroughly prepared teaching materials to accomplish this when working with students with various levels, motivations, and goals. I believe through building trust and a sense of comfort when working with students, we create a space that is genuine and open, which allows students to bring their best ability and mindset to learn.Mis clases y método de enseñanza

Before the lesson she had me fill a form out to get to know me and my level of understanding in Korean. I’m definitely on the beginners level, so we started with the history of 한글 and sounded out the alphabet before moving forward. She came to the lesson with an entire PowerPoint personalized for me and made me feel very comfortable with speaking my broken Korean into existence (lol!).
I appreciate the time and effort she put into my lesson before it even happened, and I can’t wait to continue where we left off next week! :-)

On this lesson, we focused on subject and topic particles upon my request as I have been struggling with them. Estelle created a beautiful slideshow that explained these subjects to me. As always, she sent me lesson notes. I look forward to reviewing on my own and checking in with her in the next lesson. I highly recommend Estelle.
