Hello! My name is Oskar and I am from England.
I am a qualified TEFL teacher and I have experience teaching students both online and in-person. I have previously lived and worked in the Netherlands and Canada, and I have been living in Germany for the last seven years. I am a friendly and encouraging teacher and I try my best to make students feel comfortable and confident in my lessons. I put a lot of effort into adapting lessons for different students' needs and learning styles.

I send new students a placement test which allows me to see the topics that we need to work on together.
Following that, a standard Grammar and Conversation lesson with me would consist of roughly 50% grammar work and 50% conversation practice.
I like to use a range of materials in my lessons and in (optional) homework assignments, including podcasts, quizzes, reading comprehension exercises and worksheets.

Highly recommend! Oscar is a great teacher! He takes the course seriously and is well prepared. He explains everything very clearly and also gives homework. Very supportive and motivating! It's always fun to chat with him! I always enjoy our conversations.

Oskar is a great teacher. After our trial lesson I decided to book 10 lessons with him to prepare for a job interview. He has been kind, respectful and encouraging and I’m looking forward to every lesson.

I feel like I've learned plenty of phrases and expressions whenever I talk to him. He always writes out words or phrases I misused. I am grateful to him that he always tries to make me feel comfortable to talk in English.

Oscar is a very responsible and organized teacher with a warm and friendly personality. I really enjoy talking with him, and he will provide you with practical help in professional practice, which requires his efforts and research after class to put himself in your position. So you will enjoy the whole class, and with his encouragement you will have the confidence and motivation to learn and improve your language skills. So I think he is a good teacher who can be trusted and be a friend ☺️☺️☺️
