Hi there, my name is Sunny! I am a native English speaker, born and raised in United States of America. I have been living and teaching English in Thailand for the past few years. I have taught students from all across the globe and I specialize in American English, specifically, pronunciation so that you may attain an American accent. Students have said that my classes are fun and interactive yet highly educational, which is my goal for each class. I hope that you enjoy it!

My goal for each class is for you to learn as much as possible while also making it feel like you are not learning, so that the concepts you are learning feels natural and never boring! I am very patient, caring, and I can adjust to your learning needs, because each student learns differently. I just need you tell me 'how *you* like to learn' and I will do my very best to guide you and support your English learning every step of the way! I am here to be your English guide.

Mis clases y método de enseñanza

I specialize in proper American English pronunciation, the (Standard American English, SAE dialect). Many of my students say that my English is very clear and I can teach you exactly how an American speaker pronounces (says) words. I have a 2nd Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an American university (my first degree is in Psychology with a minor in Sociology), so I am professionally trained in pronunciation, phonetics (the sounds of words), syntax (the grammatical structures of sentences), semantics (the meaning of words), etc. We can be casual and relaxed with conversations, or we can be more formal, sticking to very structured English.

Sunny is an excellent teacher, and I am glad to learn from her. When it comes to catching mistakes, she is very attentive. She helps me identify my mistakes in pronunciation and she gives me very useful tips to improve them as well. I feel more confident in speaking. This teacher would be a great choice for anyone who is interested in learning American English.
