Do you speak French? Surprise! You already know some Egyptian Arabic 🇪🇬🇫🇷 Many people think Arabic is a difficult language to start. but Because of our rich history and cultural exchange, Egyptians use many French words in their daily life. Ascenseur ➔ We say: Asanseir (أسانسير) 🛗 Coiffeur ➔ We say: Kowafeir (كوافير) 💇‍♂️ Balcon ➔ We say: Balkona (بالكونة) 🏠 Cravate ➔ We say: Karavatta (كرافاتة) 👔 Chiffonnière ➔ We say: Sifonnira (سيفونيرة) 🗄️ Écharpe ➔ We say: Eisharb (إيشارب) 🧣 Wait, there's more! Even simple words like Pardon or Merci are widely understood. Why does this matter? It shows that languages are bridges, not walls. My goal is to show you how easy and connected the Egyptian dialect is to the world. You don't need to start from zero.you start from what you already know! Question for you: Are there any words in your native language that you think might have an Arabic origin? Let me know in the comments. #Arabic #EgyptianDialect #LearnArabic #LanguageLearning #French #italkiArabic

What do you struggle with the most in regards to speaking American English with native English speakers? Is it coming up with words to say? It's pronouncing them clearly so your listener can fully understand? Is it saying enough so you don't sound limited or be able to give enough variety in your responses so you don't sound repetitive? Is it phrasal verbs? Do you use them? Do you understand them? Do you know how many there are? What about your confidence? Do you second guess yourself when you speak English? Do you have a lot of 'ums' and 'uhs' when you speak American English? Do you repeat words and phrases? Do you have long pauses in between your words and phrases? Do you translate in your head before you say it? Do you depend on translating? Do you say the bare minimum which is only the few things you know how to say but if someone asks you to 'say more.' you'd have difficulty? Are you not really sure where you struggle? Have you ever had someone from the United States... a tutor or teacher really judge your speaking and give you feedback?

I see more and more people almost spend all of them time on checking their phones except falling asleep. Different people have their own different favorite apps for entertainment. The online world is much more interesting than the real world for them.among these apps installed on our phones, the communication apps which also called social medias have become one of the most important parts of our daily life. I can't imagine how I made friends with others before smart phones. During that period, only the people around me potentially could be my friends. A friend must be the person I met in person. But everything changed after smart phones got into our lives. Nowadays, we have a lot of friends online. Most of them we never see , even have a picture of them. We share the interesting things with each other, and cancel these ones we don't like. On the other hand, I slowly find that I am afraid of seeing my friends in person. I even forget how to communicate with friends, because I read an article about some tips of starting a conversation last week. I have definitely lost an important skill due to smart phones.
