Another question. The following is my revised writing: It's raining outside, and I'm going to make a couple of pancakes from now. I have some buttermilk pancake mix, so I'll use it. I just worry when I see new skyscrapers or overly designed huge constructions, comparing to the amount of things that I can conserve and there are so many serious problems to be taken care of in the world. In the above text, I've been told that the 'comparing' should be 'compared,' but I don't understand why it is like so because the subject of 'compare' is the speaker. Could somebody explain it to me?
