🛠️ Throughout the lesson, I will try not to interrupt you when you're speaking, but instead, I will be writing notes about our English throughout. After every 10-20 minutes, we will take time to review the notes I have made, such as correcting mistakes with grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation.

😀 Let me tell you a little about my teaching style. Basically, I don't have a fixed curriculum which I use for every student. Instead, I like to get to know my students first. I don't like to rush things, as I think it's important to have a relaxed classroom environment and have fun.

Tell me what test you are taking, and I will do whatever it takes to help you pass the exam. It's as simple as that.

💬 Our first lesson(s) will consist of seeing where your English level is at the moment, and what needs to be improved for the test. From then onward, we will set clear targets, based on the knowledge requirements of the test.

😀 My Textbook English course starts with a lesson to analyse your current level of English and getting to know each other a little better.

📚 After that, we will spend our lessons using a professional English textbook (I usually use 'Speakout'), which I will also send to you free of charge. 

💪 The textbook incorporates exercises to improve all aspects of English, such as; Speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and so on .

🙋‍♂‍ During the course we can also spend time working on whatever suits you. For example, In addition to using the textbook, there will be some conversation practice and games to improve the naturality of your English. Other things like discussing current world events or a news article are also possible from time to time.

One of my specialities is proofreading and editing.
I enjoy writing myself, and I have a very keen eye for spotting mistakes and editing sentences to flow better and more naturally.

If you send me your work via email, I can proofread and edit it.
My work is to a professional standard, and all edits will be highlighted to show what exactly I have changed and how exactly I have changed it. This way, you can learn from your mistakes and improve your writing skills for the next time.

How much I can proofread/edit in a given duration depends on the level of English and the amount of mistakes, but I aim to proofread and edit 500 words per 20-30 minutes.

If you want to talk about the edits face-to-face, I can give you a discounted rate for a General English lesson, to talk about them. Alternatively, if you have just a couple of questions regarding the edits, I can answer your questions via message at no extra cost.

Attained a 1st class degree.

Included an exchange year (Erasmus) in Frankfurt, Germany.

The focus of my studies included all aspects of business, at an international level, with an added focus on awareness and management of different cultures.

I have taught in several elementary and junior high schools, to a wide range of abilities. Usually around 15 classes every week, of which, around half of them I planned and led myself.

Teaching Chinese children online. I stopped to focus all my attention on teaching with Italki!
