*In order to get the most out of these group classes, please download the class material and do the preparation exercised beforehand* During this group class, students will take turns in giving a 5-10 minute presentation (depending on the group size) on a topic of their choice. Ideally something business-related but could be anything really. The only important thing is that the presentation should answer a question, such as “How does management affect an organisation’s performance?”, or describe something, such as “The importance of a digital marketing strategy to small businesses”. Remember, the presentations are only 5-10 minutes so it is not possible to go into depth about a topic. However, there will also be 5-10 minutes after each presentation for questions from the other students and of course myself too, as well as notes about your English and some tips for future presentations. Personally, having a degree in International Business, in which it was necessary to give business-style presentations on a regular basis, as well as having been an English teacher for over 6 years, I feel like giving presentations is one of my biggest strengths. Important note - It is not necessary to produce presentation slides for the presentation. An oral presentation is sufficient. However, it is recommended to write some notes to help you prepare and also during the presentation.

This group class is a real opportunity for students to practice giving a short presentation to a group of people. As the presentation time will be shared by the students, it is also an opportunity to ask questions and discuss a wide array of business topics. This way, we can keep the group classes fun and interesting!
