To earn a favorable band score, you need to discuss any topic at a moment’s notice. This class will give you the chance to share and listen to answers for a range of Part 3 Speaking questions. Nothing makes me happier than hearing that students have earned the IELTS band scores they need to move on to the next phase of their lives. For several years I have taught IELTS, online and in-person, to students of all levels from all over the world. I am CELTA certified. I focus on expanding students' use of synonyms and idioms. I also believe that even the slightest familiarity with opinions and ideas about each topic can create an uptick in your score. IELTS success means the ability to express an opinion on any given topic, and this group class will give you the experience to do that on test day. I will provide notes and custom feedback designed to take your speaking to the next level. This class is for Advanced English speakers (C1-C2 Level). We will discuss and debate topics contained in the most recent IELTS Part 3 Speaking questions.

How to quickly to state a point of view and defend it. How to confidently tackle the topics covered in the class. How to decide when to bring your response back on track, or decide to conclude your answer. How to integrate idioms as sentence-starters — an important feature for IELTS success. You will receive detailed notes on where you are succeeding and what you need to work on.
