Description du cours
Get involved and have fun while reading a high-level article. In this class, we will work with group discussions following an academic text. Lessons are well structured and fun! ;)
The lesson is divided in:
1. fun warm-up discussions to break the ice,
2. introduction to the article and presenting of first questions.
3. work in pairs and group discussions.
4. more work with colleagues.
5. feedback time to improve your pronunciation and grammar.
6. suggestion of links to further studies.
Après ce cours en groupe, vous saurez
The student will:
-identify and understand academic target vocabulary
-relate informations to interpret questions and identify the correct information
-learn different styles of questions and what is expected of each of them: how to INFER, how to FIND JUSTIFICATION, how to SUMMARIZE
-learn about the proficiency texts, such as the TOEFL and the IELTS exams. Learn how to improve your result on them, in the reading section
