After reading many sentences in Korean conversations sentences, 
Check out how much you understand the sentences with a voice recording. 
Never look at the sentences when listening to the voice recording. 
And Listen to the sentence repeatedly until you hear it completely.

Korean Conversation 1 - Lesson 8.  Part 1 에서, Part 2 -았어요/-었어요/-였어요  (Beginner 1)

wánɡ yánɡ bǔ láo 
亡羊补牢
cónɡ qián yǒu ɡè rén yǎnɡ le jǐ zhǐ yánɡ。 
从前有个人养了几只羊。
yì tiān zǎo shànɡ，tā qù fànɡ yánɡ，
一天早上，他去放羊，
fā xiàn yánɡ shǎo le yì zhī。
发现羊少了一只。
yuán lái yánɡ juàn pò le ɡè kū lónɡ， 
原来羊圈破了个窟窿，
yè li lánɡ cónɡ kū lónɡ zuān jìn qù， 
夜里狼从窟窿钻进去，
bǎ yánɡ diāo zǒu le。 
把羊叼走了。
lín jū quàn tā shuō: 
邻居劝他说:
“ɡǎn jǐn bǎ yánɡ juàn xiū yì xiū， 
“赶紧把羊圈修一修，
dǔ shànɡ nà ɡe kū lónɡ bɑ!” 
堵上那个窟窿吧!”
tā shuō:“yánɡ yǐ jīnɡ diū le， 
他说:“羊已经丢了，
hái xiū yánɡ juàn ɡàn shén me?” 
还修羊圈干什么?”
dì èr tiān zǎo shànɡ，tā qù fànɡ yánɡ， 
第二天早上，他去放羊，
fā xiàn yánɡ yòu shǎo le yì zhī。 
发现羊又少了一只。
yuán lái lánɡ yòu cónɡ kū lónɡ zuān jìn qù， 
原来狼又从窟窿钻进去，

他很后悔没有听邻居的劝告，
xīn xiǎnɡ，xiàn zài xiū hái bù wǎn。
心想，现在修还不晚。
tā ɡǎn jǐn dǔ shànɡ nà ɡe kū lónɡ，
他赶紧堵上那个窟窿，
bǎ yánɡ juàn xiū dé jiē jiē shí shí de。
把羊圈修得结结实实的。
cónɡ cǐ，tā de yánɡ zài yě méi diū ɡuò。
从此，他的羊再也没丢过。

我费了好长时间才弄清楚他是从哪里来的。
It took me a long time to learn where he came from.

小王子向我提出了很多问题，可是，对我提出的问题，他好像压根没有听见似的。
The little prince, who asked me so many questions, never seemed to hear the ones I asked him.


他无意中吐露的一些话逐渐使我搞清了他的来历。
It wasfrom words dropped by chance that, little by little, everything was revealed to me.

例如，当他第一次瞅见我的飞机时（我就不画出我的飞机了，因为这种图画对我来说太复杂），他问我道： “这是个啥玩艺？”
The first time he saw my airplane, for instance (I shall not draw my airplane; that would be much too complicated for me), he asked me: "What is that object?"
这不是玩艺儿。它能飞。
That is not an object. It flies.
这是飞机。是我的飞机。
It is an airplane. It is my airplane.

我当时很骄傲地告诉他我能飞。
And I was proud to have him learn that I could fly.
于是他惊奇地说道：“怎么？你是从天上掉下来的？”
He cried out, then:"What! You dropped down from the sky?"
“是的”。我谦逊地答道。
"Yes," I answered, modestly.
啊！这真滑稽。
Oh! That is funny!


此时小王子发出一阵清脆的笑声。这使我很不高兴。
And the little prince broke into a lovely peal of laughter, which irritated me very much.
我要求别人严肃地对待我的不幸。
I like my misfortunes to be taken seriously.
然后，他又说道：“那么，你也是从天上来的了！你是哪个星球上的？”
Then he added: "So you, too, come from the sky! Which is your planet?"

这个时候，对于他是从哪里来的这个秘密我隐约发现到了一点线索；
At that moment I caught a gleam of light in the impenetrable mystery of his presence;

于是，我就突然问道：“你是从另一个星球上来的吗？”
and I demanded, abruptly: "Do you come from another planet?"
可是他不回答我的问题。
But he did not reply.
他一面看着我的飞机，一面微微地点点头，接着说道：
He tossed his head gently, without taking his eyes from my plane:


可不是么，乘坐这玩艺儿，你不可能是从很远的地方来的。
It is true that on that you can’t have come from very far away.

こんにちは！Atsushiです。
今回も慣用句シリーズでいきます。

体に関わる慣用句はかなり多いです！
今日は首くびの慣用句でいきます。

世界でも同じかもしれないですが、日本では首は仕事に関わる表現が多いように思います。生活が苦しい時の表現などにも使われるので、首は体の中でも頭と胴体をつないでいるように、大切な部分のようなイメージが昔からあるのかもしれません。

ということでいきましょう！



① 首が繋がる  (くびがつながる)
ギリギリのところで解雇をまぬがれる、のがれる、という意味です。
例えば、
ー本当にやばいと思ったけど、なんとか首がつながった。
などと使います。

② 首が回らない (くびがまわらない)
この意味は、
借金など支払わないといけないお金が多くてどうしようもないことを意味します。
ーどうにもこうにも首が回らない、
などと使います。

③ 首を突っ込む (くびをつっこむ)
この意味は、
関心や興味をもつこと、また、何かに深入りすることを意味します。深入りすることについてはネガティブな、良くないイメージで使います。
例えば、
ー彼はなんにでも首を突っ込みたがる。
ーずいぶん、ややこしいことに首を突っ込んでるなぁ。
とか使います。


どれもポジティブな表現ではなかったですね。
他の首に関する慣用句も少しネガティブな表現が多い感じでした。

ということで、いかがだったでしょうか。
今回の表現も、テレビなどで聞くことの方が多いかもしれません。刑事物のドラマとかによく出てきそうですね。
